First breeding-case ot Streptopelia d. decaocto in the Netherlands. In September 1950 a pair of Streptopelia decaocto bred in Musse1kanaal, Province of Groningen, the Netherlands. The nest was sited in an oak along a road, about 6 m high. On November 13th next the author watched 4 specimen in his garden, Whereas TJITTES (Ardea, 38, p. 235) mentioned two probable records for the province of Gelderland (resp. winter 48/49 and summer 1950) and BIERMAN (ibidem, p. 162) published a positive record for the same province (Sept.
