TIMMERMAN A (1951) A new breeding-case of Actitis hypoleucos (L.) in the Netherlands. LIMOSA 24 (1): 6-8.

Actitis hypoleucos is a very rare breeding bird in the Netherlands. The first breeding record of this species in this country dates from 1920. On May 25th 1950 a nest with four eggs was found on the Grote Vogeleiland in the waterfowlreserve Zwarte Meer. The measures of the eggs are given in the table.
